DANCE-A-THON
Along with our more traditional DJ services, Olympic Sound offers a special children’s program to local schools. Intended primarily as a fundraising initiative, the idea is to do it while keeping kids active, healthy and having loads of fun! Typically, on the date of the event, staggered groups of students fill the school gymnasium. Following a special curriculum of dancing and movement activities all set to current, age-appropriate music, Jasmyn (a former competitive dancer, also certified in Early Childhood Education) keeps ‘em dancing ‘til their feet hurt. We also provide audio snippets to be played during morning announcements, reminding students of the upcoming event and to continue pledge collections.

The program is designed to earn funds for your school with minimum effort from the social committee.
Your school needs funds for programs, materials, school improvement and special events. You need a fundraiser that is going to be extremely profitable, healthy, fun and easy.
Collect and send us the student music requests in advance of the campaign and we will ensure we are prepared with their preferred (and appropriate) tracks!
Jasmyn helps coordinate the event and we’re happy to provide suggestions for giveaways (during the event) and top fundraiser prizes.
Younger students are given more structure, engaging in group dances and physical activities, whereas older students have more time to dance freely.
Students will be engaged in the Limbo, the Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, the Train, the Cha-Cha Slide & other familiar dances!
Classes come to the gym with similar aged students for timeslots between 30-90 minutes.

EVERY DANCE-A-THON PACKAGE INCLUDES
- Set up/take down (school must supply a minimum 4 foot long table)
- Pre event support (choosing song lists, agenda scheduling etc.)
